Audio: Josh Luchs says most agents lose money after the 3rd round of the NFL draft

Listen below to hear Josh Luchs, former sports agent, discuss a theory Lou Holtz has voiced about agents during his time at ESPN. Holtz believes players should get an offer from a team on their own and then pay an agent 50% from whatever they can get on top of that initial offer. Luchs says most agents lose on their initial deal with a client because after the 3rd round of the draft the commission check will not cover expenses that have already been spent and invested into that prospect.
