Coach Miller's invested his family, his career, himself in seeing to it that the University of Arizona is re-elevated to the level it once enjoyed and beyond. He and the team, indeed our program, are committed to building and keeping things going in a positive, productive direction. The past three years are just the start, the foundation of the expansion project. Bigger and better things are coming for family, program and coach, and Connecticutt and Kentucky have nothing to do with it. Quite the contrary.

None of those teams will be in the AFC or NFC championship next year. The only reason Houston wasn't in the Super Bowl is because it lost its quarterbacks to injury. They were the best team last year heading into the playoffs. Texans are the team to beat next year. Saints, Steelers and Ravens are too old and need considerable help via free agency and the draft.

San Francisco choked against the Giants and should have been in the Super Bowl. Don't expect them to choke again next year.

Keep an eye on the Panthers, especially if they have a good draft. And if the Lions and Packers do well in free agency and the draft to add some defensive help, they're contenders as well.

Detroit vs. Houston in the Super Bowl next year. You read it here first.

Les Miles is ah mediocre coach, he is also ah arrogant yankee.
As long as Les Miles is the head coach at LSU Tiger Nation will continue to tear itself apart from the inside out.

Bill B,
I'm a Bama fan, but ya'll (LSU fans) have every right to be mad as hell.
I've thought the exact same thing you wrote. I've never seen anything close to it, when two teams were so close in talent. I kept thinking through most of the game and I told my buddies that crazy SOBesomething (Hatter) has probably got us right where he wants us. When we were ahead by 12, I assumed he had found something in the rule book and was about to score on a 13 point play. NOTHING,..... don't stand there and take it like a little bgirl. Hell, do something if it's wrong, we saw the definition of insane. Flea flicker, statue of liberty, quick kick, anything,,, globetrotter figure eight, maybe a couple of long passes??? you think!!! I'm happy we won, but I would have rather won against someone who would stand up and fight. Maybe there is something that we don't know, but it was so pitiful I can't give your coach the benefit of the doubt. I would say that he just got outcoached, but that would assume there was any coaching on LSU's sideline.

Mr. Rodriguez,
Although I agree with you that the question maybe should have come from someone else, given his personal involvement, NO ONE IN THE MEDIA had the nuts to ask it. The timing may have been bad, the question a bit harsh under the circumstances, yet Bobby said what most of us were thinking (and in fact screaming at the television during the game). WTF?????? Why isn't someone else given a chance to make a difference? Why are we NOT throwing the ball down the field? Why aren't we trying something, ANYTHING to push the ball ahead? Bama's defense was formidable, but we took no forward steps to outsmart it. We had a plethora of opportunities to try something different. No trickeration from "The Mad Hatter" at all. Spencer Ware and Russell Sheppard were both very accomplished quarterbacks in high school and could have been used as such to fake a running play (none of which worked the entire game) and throw a pass from an end around or toss sweep. Long term fans and alums like myself were having fits that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but plain vanilla plays were run and zero chances were taken, even when we were hopelessly way behind in the fourth quarter. What did they have to lose? I'm sure that Bobby Hebert (as were the entire Tiger Nation) was screaming mad at the way the game was coached and let his emotions out at a bad time. Frustrated? YES. But, we still have not heard one single legitimate reason to justify the poor coaching.
In spite of it all, I am proud as hell at the season we had and will continue to support my team. I am an LSU Tiger fan for life.
