Our Favorite Interviews: Pete Carroll, Lute Olson, Kevin Frazier, Dickie V

Monday, July 4th, 2011

As we prepare for our first podcast on our new site (110SportsPodcast.com), we wanted to offer some suggestions for past interviews that we enjoyed doing, and in return, you might be interested in listening to. We have 70 interviews that are archived right now on our “Podcast Page.” But, here are a couple of our favorites:

Victor:
Pete Carroll: Having Pete Carroll on after he made USC a dynasty again, the infractions the NCAA claimed the Trojans had during his tenure and his decision to leave LA for the Seattle Seahawks is interview I will never forget.

Lute Olson: Growing up a huge Arizona basketball fan, Lute Olson would have to be one of my favorite interviews. The fact this was one of our bigger shows because we were linked on ESPN, USA Today and Sporting News was an added bonus.

Matt:
Kevin Frazier: Genuinely a nice guy. Brought great stories and insight from not only his current job, but also at ESPN. Definitely worth a listen.

Dickie V: “It’s Awesome, Baby!” Being that Dick Vitale does very little outside of his duties at ESPN this was a really cool interview for us personally. Beyond that, he gave us a peek into his thought process and it will shed light on why he is so successful.

If you’re new to our show that should be a really good start! Also, we posted our first video blog and have a full list of our interviews that are available “on demand.” Thanks for the support. We’re gearing up for our first show, this Wednesday, July 6th with Hall of Fame boxer Sugar Ray Leonard. Please subscribe now!
