TC Bloggers who censor – Moral ? Uprising

Back in the dark ages of TC.com there were a couple of vicious right wing bloggers who loved to post their rants but simply couldn’t deal with oppositional opinion, and would routinely delete any comment they disliked.

This is why I requested the ability to blog myself, in order to respond to such cowardly behavior.

Well it looks like we have a new one who deletes opposing opinion so, since I am now an official “blogger”, I have the opportunity to continue the discussion should the blogger seek to do so rather than just delete opposing comments.

The blog in question is ironically titled, no doubt, as Moral Uprising

Should one follow it, one will shortly reach the point:

I was responding to your statement of, “Repubs and libertarian types are comfortable with only the rich having food and medical care, and the poor dying”.
BTW, I want the same type of Government that the Founders of this Great Nation wanted.

What you will not see is any reply, such as:

You mean the one with the slaves and females as chattel and only propertied males having a vote ?

Because it has been deleted. Twice.

So now if Mr Spendlove ( is that ironic too ?) would like to continue the discussion of his ideology without censorship, I offer him the opportunity.

      Yea I’ve heard that about him. He hasn’t deleted any of mine but ….

      In my experience it has always been right wing bloggers that censor their blogs, but then I suppose that’s because they are the ones I disagree with :)

        Yes, you are unlikely to post something that would be deleted by a left wing blogger.
           
        Three Sonorans won’t delete every single disagreeing post, but if you say something that poses a substantial threat to his arguments or proves him wrong about something, odds are it will be deep sixed. It appears Mr. Spendlove has a similar mentality, given his response to your perfectly reasonable challenge.

          btw, when I said “you are unlikely” I meant it as a reference to Mr. O’Neill specifically, not as a general impersonal reference.

    I kind of miss Jim Kelley.  I lasted about one week before I was blacklisted (“potty mouth” was the given reason), but he could always be counted on to say something really disconnected from reality.

    Don’t know who Jim Kelly is, but censorship is usually the last resort of a individual or group who has lost a argument/debate and name calling/innuendo has failed so they have nothing left but to censor!:-) All one has to do is go to our local atheist’s message board here {refuse to call it a blog since one or two atheist zealot/cyber trolls live there under that cyber bridge, demanding a toll if one dares try to cross their personal cyber bridge} when they fail to induce anger, with their venomous ad hominem personal attacks on ones lack of mental ability, character, childish name calling they run to the message boards monitor and demand you be censored/removed!;-) The sad thing is they think they are some massive, mythical movement garnering massive numbers of converts! Zealots exist in atheism, christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc., etc, and in any poltical spectrum as well, one of the most famous atheist zealots the late Madalyn O’hare even disowned her own son, stated he was dead to her for rejecting her atheism and converting to christianity, even  becoming a preacher, he has written often on his mothers immorality/hedonism, her unethical behavior trying to take over another atheist’s organization by forging documents, greed, avarice, hedonism ruled her life and in the end can be attributed to her sad demise! Now do christians have zealots sure we do, Falwell, Swaggert, Jim & Tammy Tammy Bakker, to many to count, but not all zealots become famous!:-) But they all have one common denominator, their way or the highway!:-) Our local atheist message board{will not call it a blog since one or two atheist zealots have free reign to run anyone off who does not kow tow to them with the moderators assistance}, real blogs don’t fear debate, disagreement, and often will far out last the censorship message boards! Look at huffingtonpost.com, many mocked it as being liberal and would not prosper, right wing radio was swearing it would fizzle but alas their magical right wing crystal balls do not always foretell the future! The right wing does not own god, jesus, my best guess is they are non-political and when they come to earth to do the final judgment just as many self professed right wingers will be unknown to them as left wingers!:-)

        Cyber trolls are like the fairy tale version the sit under a bridge, jump out and attack, demand a toll for passage! Now if you expect me to pay your toll, I will disappint you, now I know you troll the posts worried somoene might say something you cannot stand, disagree with, but alas one cannot control every cyber bridge, no matter how much you wish you could!:-)

    Once RH (Now JD) has found you and once he knows you’re an atheist he’ll stick with you forever.  It will help to drive the numbers of your sites visitors up.  I personally like him writing, because it a great demonstration of how whacked out christians are.  If he’s in touch with reality, then our problem is far bigger than I ever imagined.

    I too experienced censorship on other blogs when I raised some hard hitting questions.  Christians and republicans only want a certain image presented (much like the Boy Scouts).  Sweep it under the carpet and it will eventually go away.  Babe

    The funniest thing about “zealots” of any kind, be they atheist, religious, political etc, they are obsessed with control, censorship, and forced adherence to their view alone, funniest thing about them is they don’t even realize how futile their game is! No one can control everything in this big wide cyber world!:-)

      Not true, some zealots don’t seek to control, they instead spend hours annoying strangers on the U of A mall preaching the same thing over and over. Kind of like what you do.

        I am always amused at folks who lack control of their eyes, ear’s, mind’s, since when I hear something I dislike, feel anoyed at, I simply tune them out, ignore them, but then I don’t anger easily, and 99.9% of the time I find humor in others views whom I might disagree with, but one thing I  never ever do is pay a cyber troll their toll, which is often allowing them to get you angry, and start spewing profanity, ad hominem personal character assassination! The sign of a cyber troll is they are obsessed with attacking, demanding obediance, subserviant agreement, and when this fails all they have left is ad hominem personal character assassination, and some devolve to pure and simple use of profanity, vulgarity! Now I know some folks cannot help themselves so I mostly ignore them as best I can!:-)

    Even the government knows how futile it is to try and censor debate, discussion, disagreement, one wastes energy, time trying! But then one will never rid the internet of the cyber trolls who spend all their time and energy trying to demand a toll for the priveledge of crossing a web site, blog, message board they deem their private domain! Real true free thinkers don’t care what other say or believe, don’t try and convert by force, merely comment and let the comment be its own message, one cannot force anyone to believe something one truly wishs not too!:-)

    The true test of a zealot/cyber troll is first they argue then they dinigrate with innuendo, name calling of the personal nature, character, mental ability of the person they disagree with, when all this fails they try to censor, remove the person from “their precieved personal cyber bridge” since they cannot force them to pay their toll!:-)

    As to the three senorans, cannot say how he monitors his site, blog, but one thing for sure, every site has someone monitering it, controlling it to a degree, some might be liberal with their allowance of content, one can post on the phoenix arizona newspaper web site with pretty much wild west attitude, unless one makes actual verbal threats of violence they seem to allow pretty much free commentary, kvoa web site once was like that but they changed, due to the cyber trolls took over, dominated to the point they could not even control them, even went so far as to hack their user base, polls, which was amusing anyone would stoop to such childishness, thinking what they might convert the world to their views, opinions by stiffling debate, others views! Folks are angry in america and its not them fake tea publicans with their Dick Armey operative commander, or his billionaire fiancier’s, its a real grass roots movement of angry citizens, and its got the powers that be terrified!:-)

      I do believe some come here out of loneliness, desperation at having no lives, that is why they ad hominem attack posters by name, try to engage them in conversation instead of merely post a comment and move on!:-) I guess if I was giving advice they ought to try a lonely hearts site or maybe visit their favorite watering hole and engage a bartender, fellow patron and try and satisfy that loneliness!:-)

          Guess sometimes folks truly think when they attack someone by name, by internet handle the reality of their ad hominem attacks, cyber troll status is a bit hard for them to grasp!:-) Sorry but if your seeking conversation, date, validation of your views, opinions, might I give you the repeat advice, try a dating service, social networking site, or your favorite watering hole, am sure the bar tender is paid well to talk to you, and maybe you can find a fellow patron to debate with, converse with! I am not interested!:-)

    I sometimes think I anger the cyber trolls/zealots due to I can type with all ten fingers, don’t need or care to use my spell check, since I always love them “grammar police ticket’s”, its my validation they are angry and cannot think straight!:-) And god forbid they resort to copy & paste and google research for their evidence to validate their views…..so funny, as if one can prove anything via google, one can find a article, story, writing to vindicate almost any view or opinion in the world if one looks hard enough, from big foot to ufo’s!:-)

    One can prove my theory of censorship by simply do as I do, post your comments, try to ignore the local cyber trolls/zealots who inhabit every single blog, web site which has a commentary section, they will first try to engage you in a back and forth conversation, when they feel you have out debated them, or made them feel foolish, they then resort to name calling, innuendo on your character, mental ability, education, financial status, etc., and when this fails they go into often the angry profane mode, and try to get you to return in kind so they can then demand the site moderator remove you, how do they get away with this since they use the very same thing they accuse you of to get you removed, censored, simple they are a cyber troll/zealot with multiple identities, they constantly log on and off playing this game like a childs video game, its all about winning to them, and winning to them is getting you to either pay their toll or making you disappear!:-)

    Note here our local cyber trolls/zealots cannot stand the fact I posted here, they wish me censored, removed, its obvious in their comments, how futile their game is, since I don’t own any cyber bridges, nor do I ad hominem attack anyone by name, internet handle, I merely comment yes on groups of people, political groups, types of groups but not the individuals per se unless they are some infamous politician or person such as Madalyn O’Hare, Falwell, Swaggert, Jim & Tammy Bakker!:-) If they were here posting I would not engage them but treat them like another poster, read their comment, draw my own opinion/view of what they say and make a general comment! Imagine how unhappy our local cyber trolls/zealots would be if no one took their bait & switch game and ingored them, they might commit hari kari in deep depression! But no danger someone always falls for their bait and switch, feeding them their toll!:-)
