In praise of Rush Limbaugh

by on Mar. 03, 2012, under Bigotry, Catholic, Christian, contraception, medical care, Republican, santorum

On his radio show recently Rush Limbaugh stirred up a hornet’s nest of condemnation.

He stated that the only valid sexual activity for a woman was to have sex with her one and only lifelong husband in such a way that pregnancy might result.

Anything else – any sex acts, any other person, any use of artificial birth control was sinful and his conscience was offended by the idea of government sponsored medical care actually paying for birth control so that women could sin.

The Catholic bishops meanwhile launched a major campaign, taken up by the Repub party and appearing before Congress, to denounce sluts who want to engage in sex and expect them to pay for it.

Or maybe it was the other way around – it doesn’t really matter.

Because all that Rush has done is say exactly the same thing that the Bishops said and the Republicans are saying, using more colloquial language.

And if you want to see hypocrisy in action, watch the people who will condemn Rush and applaud the Bishops.

I’m sure your daughter will be proud.

If Limbaugh thinks  someone who uses contraceptives makes them a slut, what does that make someone who is caught with someone else’s prescription for Viagra in his travel bag? Maybe we need bumper stickers “Limp ***ks for Rush”? (self censored)

He was taking his borrowed boner pills to a third world country. For what? Life and kinky sex are cheaper in such places. You can buy all kinds of goods services in the “zona” and not have to worry about media exposure – unless, of course, you do something stupid such as getting a supply of viagara through another person.

The Bishops feel safe on this issue (you can’t get an Alter Boy pregnant).

I know – if you could, contraception would be a sacrament

Ah Tip, what a waste of a great name.  Contraception isn’t just about having sex.  Read a little or listen to Sandra Fluke.  I don’t have the time to educate you.
