Miami, FL – SOMOS REPUBLICANS are witnessing a new dynamic take shape in Miami-Dade County. Immigrants have learned to use the American system successfully by launching a successful recall against Mayor Carlos Alvarez. This recall is not only a recall from immigrants against immigrants, but it is a recall that comes from moderate Republicans against ultra-conservative Republican, Mayor Carlos Alvarez.
SOMOS REPUBLICANS are endorsing Julio Robaina for the Mayor of Miami-Dade County, and we are disappointed in Mayor Carlos Alvarez because he has not spoken in support of the DREAM Act, and he has hiked taxes on property taxes by 14%.
We are happy to know that immigrants have become part of the American system and Miami serves as an example of this.
