We are launching a series of lectures by Daryl Williams. This effort is led by Conservatives. In order to fully replace Russell Pearce, we acknowledge that the change needs to take place within the Mormon community. If you are a member of the Latter Day-Saints, we encourage you to help us circulate petition signatures with fellow registered voting Mormons within LD 18 — Mesa, Arizona. We cannot win the recall Russell Pearce efforts without the help of members of the LDS Church. You are invited to our very first lecture that will be given on April 8th. Details below.

“Mormons are particularly patriotic when it comes to the law. Indeed, much of the support for Arizona’s vitriol comes from Phoenix’s “east valley,” the Mesa/Gilbert area of the valley, which is heavily populated by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (“the Church”). One of the Articles of Faith of the Church says, ‘We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.’ The Articles of Faith of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Art. 12.”
“Russell Pearce, the chief proponent of Arizona’s immigration laws is, like me, a Mormon. His views, however, do not reflect the official position of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the official name of the Mormon church. Indeed, Mr. Pearce’s views are inconsistent with the official position of his church.”
