The Real Kyrsten Sinema plays good cop while Russell Pearce plays the bad cop.

Saturday, March 5th, 2011

WE HAVE THE WHOLE VIDEO OF SINEMA MAKING SURE HER OWN LATINO DEMOCRATIC VOTERS WERE ARRESTED AND ESCORTED OUT.

We know that Kyrsten Sinema wants to be the good cop on SB 1225, while Russell Pearce gets to play the bad cop in developing a brown list banning people from the Senate building, and preventing people from attending more press conferences.  Kyrsten basically told everyone at the Arizona capitol of her own self-inflicted chaos due to  her own fellow Democratic Latino voters revolting against a bill she sponsored — SB 1225.

Kyrsten was already forgiven by her Latino Democratic supporters when she wrote a bill that in essence allowed Jonathan Patton to run with it and eventually led Joe Arpaio to receive his powers.  Now she wants to do the same thing with SB 1225.  Kyrsten Sinema is in the business (along with Pearce) in over-criminalizing laws that are already on the books.  She wants to appear “tough on immigration” so that she can run for Congress.

Here is more footage of the SB 1225 event.  We have another video of Kyrsten answering a reporter’s question on why Latino Democrats are revolting against her own sponsored bill.

P.S. The people chanting “no mas”  and “no more” are Latino Democrats who are fed up with the over-criminalization of anti-immigrant bills.  Sinema should do her job and work on our broken budget and solving the bankruptcy condition of Arizona.

Letter to Latinos – Begin the Hispanic Primary Election Rallies in Your Cities

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

Dear Gente:

We have a year and a half to increase our political clout.  We do this by getting ready and registering our cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and friends who are eligible.  Be sure to put them all on the early ballot system.  We should all ask for early ballots, that way you don’t have to fuss with getting away from work, and you receive your ballot in your mail box (in several states).

The reason why we are in this political mess that is filled with anti-Latino sentiment is because we are “asleep”.  I hear so many of you complain about the tea party whackos, however, we don’t motivate ourselves to vote in the PRIMARY ELECTION seasons.  We cannot afford to let these extremists get anymore control. Latinos bring “moderation” to the table and these stinkin’ politicians know it.

Those of you who are Hispanic Republicans, grab a buddy or family members and register them to vote if they are not registered. If they don’t want to register as a Republican, register them as Independent, Libertarian, or Democrat — it doesn’t matter, as long as they vote. Get them on the early ballot voting system and tell them to vote during the primary elections.  If we can increase and register more Latino Republicans, have them contact SOMOS REPUBLICANS so that we can tell our new voters how to become a GOP leader within their states.  We change the face of the Party from within and restore our sole back to the Party of Abe Lincoln. As a Hispanic Republican….naturally I would prefer to see more Latino Republicans, but understand why they don’t.  Russell Pearce, Joe Arpaio, JD Hayworth, Tom Tancredo have done a superb job at destroying the image of my Party.

Those of you who are Democratic, same with you, grab a buddy or family members and register them to vote if they are not registered.  Several Latinos are registered as Democratic, so there should be more of you who should be Precinct Committeemen or Delegates.  Contact the DNC and tell them you want to hold a leadership within the Democratic Party and demand to find out why there aren’t more Latinos in this role.  The way I figure it, Democratic leaders WANT you to be asleep during the primary elections so that the far left liberals can leave you with a choice of voting for the most liberal person during the general election.  In fact, we are now witnessing a Democratic Senator in Arizona wanting to appear “tough on…immigration” now — her name is Kyrsten Sinema.

We cannot complain if we do not vote during the Primary Elections.  We will have a 2012 Hispanic Friendly voting guide that will make it easy for Latinos to vote based on our list.  The Hispanic voting guide will be based on Politicians who have supported our community.  Politicians who are up for re-election and who have supported anti-immigrant legislation will end up on our UN-friendly list.

Start preparing now.  Every free Latino open concert in Dallas, Ft Worth, San Antonio, Brownsville, Los Angeles, Miami-Dade, Tallahassee, Denver, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, New York, Des Moines, Phoenix, Tucson, Chicago, Salt Lake, and more should have a registration table at these events.  Get with your pastors and find out when their events are and coordinate a table set up to register more gente.

Are you angry and fed up enough?  Will you convert your anger into something productive and more influential?  Then get out the Hispanic vote.  Go to the Post Office, and register every single one of your family members in preparation of the upcoming 2012 elections, except THIS TIME VOTE IN THE PRIMARY ELECTIONS. Vote for politicians who are Hispanic-friendly, and then feel good about registering every eligible person in your family (we have large families) because you did something to counter the extremism we are all witnessing.

Yours,

DeeDee Garcia Blase

Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema had her own supporters arrested at Arizona Capitol

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011

Hispanic leaders and activists have been writing Senator Sinema emails telling her to kill SB 1225 to no avail. She has been ignoring Latino Democrats and the Hispanic Community. The Latino community voiced their opinions against Sinema yesterday at her SB 1225 press conference (the Arizona anti-Latino day where Pearce launched his massive omnibus bill).

I have said it before and I will say it again….the Latino Community is fed up with the over-criminalization of anti-immigrant laws, and Sinema sponsored another bill that will “break rank” amongst Arizona Democratic legislators with regard to “getting tough on…immigration”.

Sinema wants Latino Democrats to be good little Hispanics and accept all actions she makes even if she wants to appear “tough on….immigration”. Bottom line, we think Sinema wants to run for Congress, and she thinks she has to “appear tough on immigration” while selling Latinos down the Rio Grande River with regard to SB 1225. She boasts of the “charity” she gave to Hispanics, but when the Latino Community voices their opinion against yet another anti-immigrant law THAT SHE SPONSORED, she wants them to shut up and take it….after all…..she has her eyes set on a higher future political position.

If Sinema does not kill her SB 1225, she will go down in history as “breaking rank” from the Democratic legislators (like Steve Gallardo) who is an Arizona legislator who doesn’t use Latinos on issues (immigration) near and dear to our hearts. Sinema ought to take notes from her own cohort and Latino legislator — Steve Gallardo. If she doesn’t want to take notes from Steve Gallardo (because she has an elitest attitude)…..then perhaps she should seek the guidance of a respectable blue dog Democrat like Felecia Rotellini. Felecia has class and knows how to maintain relationships which Sinema should learn from.

Below you will see a video of Sinema asking the police to remove Carlos Galindo, Hispanic Democratic activist who has a Democratic-leaning radio program, and 3 other Hispanic voters who voted for her. Needless to say…..they will not be voting for her again.

National Hispanic Group Slams Pearce’s Omnibus SB 1611 and Democratic Legislator Sinema — Protests at Capitol today at 11:30 am

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011
MEDIA ADVISORY

National Hispanic Republican Group Slams Russell Pearce and (D) Kyrsten Sinema
For Immediate Release
22 February 2011

Phoenix, AZ –   The largest Hispanic Republican organization in the nation is against SB 1611, a bill that Republican State Senator Russell Pearce has introduced without additional sponsor support.  Pearce continues to shred the Constitution of the United States as he wastes tax payer resources in using the Senate floor to serve as a show room when introducing laws that have an overt disdain of our Constitution.  If Pearce was a good steward of Arizona tax dollars, he would wait until the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has made their final decision in the failed bill he introduced last year because our state has already spent nearly $1.6 million on credit-card fees and legal bills for work through Nov. 30.  The $1.6 million could have been applied to patients in Arizona who were cut from transplant list due to Arizona death panels and are dying.

Pearce laws hurt the tourism industry by several millions of dollars, and Arizona businesses will continue to suffer because he is not pro business, nor pro growth. His bills continue to destroy the Arizona economy and they have depreciated property values.  In a debate, Pearce has advocated socialism ideas with his continued efforts of restrictionism and isolationist approach.  He is a modern-day Dixiecrat and secessionist who ignores the Supremacy Clause of the Federal Government, yet turns a blind eye when the federal government funds Arizona unemployment insurance recipients because we cannot sustain it ourselves.   Our GOP founding father, President Abraham Lincoln, in essence died in vain to keep the Union together, and today we see  rogue Russell wanting to split the Union apart with his divisive laws.

Arizona politicians have a reputation for trampling on our constitution, and we are now seeing Democratic State Senator Kyrsten Sinema taking a similar path to appear “tough”.   Our group sent numerous emails to Sinema advising her to kill the bill – SB 1225 she sponsored, but instead she expresses her “love” of Russell Pearce.   If Sinema does not kill the bill she sponsored, she will wind up on our 2012 “unfriendly to Hispanics” list because she has been warned multiple times by the majority of Arizona Hispanic community activists and leaders.   Democratic legislators should not take the same path Pearce are on.

Legislators like Pearce and Sinema have proven they have nothing better to do but to create laws that are already on the books. They are both in the business of over-criminalizing laws instead of focusing on jobs, the budget crisis we are experiencing, and fixing the deficit.  SOMOS REPUBLICANS will stand with the entire Hispanic Community today to protest these bills today at the Capitol, and we stand with Senator Steve Gallardo with regard to SB 1225 and SB 1611.  As Senate President, Pearce has failed to manage Arizona’s budget and deficit, and Arizona is in the red by millions and millions of dollars.

If Pearce truly wanted to fix the budget and deficit crisis, he would reduce entitlement programs.  We know that our government needs additional tax revenues in order to sustain the burgeoning entitlement programs as Arizona baby boomers continue to retire.  Under the current system, these entitlement programs will drain all federal revenues within 15 years.   We are against tax increases, but realize the government will have to reduce entitlement programs or develop a way for immigrants to share our American tax burdens.

SB 1611 Russell Pearce’s Immigration Omnibus

Monday, February 21st, 2011

Mi Gente,

Just as State Senator Russell Pearce has stepped up introducing more unconstitutional laws in the State of Arizona, we must also step up our signatures to RECALL RUSSELL  PEARCE for his overt disdain of our Constitution.  If you want to help RECALL RUSSELL PEARCE FROM POLITICAL OFFICE, call and ask for DeeDee  at 480.200.3748.  Let’s continue to organize and quickly get the signatures we need because an evil man (Pearce) is destroying our State of Arizona.

Pearce isn’t the only one who is making Arizona notorious for over-criminalizing anti-immigrant laws, State Senator Kyrsten Sinema is following his lead because she sponsored SB 1225.  Please write all Democratic legislators in Arizona and tell them not to put their fingerprints on SB 1225.  Emails are below:

It will be Joe and only a few others who are texting me as I write this to you.  I have given my members and other concerned Hispanics in the community up to 4:20 pm to text me their numbers if they want to listen in on this very important matter.

I am also going to a private meeting room in Mesa, Arizona, where other concerned citizens can listen in with me on this important topic because several in the community are concerned about giving Republican extremists another platform.  As you might already know, I am involved with a non-partisan group that filed the first recall against Senator Russell Pearce for introducing laws that violate the Constitution such as SB 1070.  You will be glad to hear that we have already collected over 1500 signatures from Mesa registered voters.

The SB 1225 sort of reminds us of what occurred 3 or 4 years ago when Sen. Sinema initially introduced a bill, but it was then taken over by Rep.  Jonathan Paton who in essence took her language and got it passed. To this day, Sheriff Joe Arpaio has used her language because of that bill that was ultimately passed by Rep. Paton.

Mary and Sen. Sinema,
Thank you for the follow up, and I look forward to hearing from Senator Sinema at 4:30 pm today.
Sen Sinema was open to discussing the sb 1225 issue with SOMOS REPUBLICANS, and concerned Hispanic citizens within our community, and we will be adding participants as soon as you conference me in. We would have preferred to have met with the Senator on a personal basis, however, we are glad to speak with her on the phone.

A couple of points I want to discuss but  it does not limit to the below:

  1. We would like for Senator Sinema to kill the bill (SB1225).  There is already a penalty in place, and we have so many anti-immigrant laws already on the books.  Since there is already a penalty in place and a multitude of immigrant bills which Arizona is notorious for (no thanks to Republican extremists), wouldn’t it be wise to focus our time and resources on the deficit, the economy, and fixing the broken immigration system?
  2. In addition to our request for Sen. Sinema to kill this bill, we would like for her to be a leader and introduce the ARIZONA COMPACT.  We have language she could use which is designed to provide a healthy discussion on immigration.  The ARIZONA COMPACT is modeled after the Utah Compact and was a successful measure that was endorsed by Utah businesses, church leaders and the community.

The Hispanic Community can no longer be used as political footballs with regard to immigration related matters.  We are tired of it. We cannot afford to give extremists a platform anymore.   It’s time to solve the complex issue of immigration that will work towards truly securing our borders, as well as, supporting pro growth ideas that will create a robust economy.  Over-criminalizing laws are not the answer.
