Think about the past GOP challengers running against Grijalva. Some were fairly extreme on immigration; one even proposed shooting undocumented immigrants. How well do you suppose that was received in a district that is half Hispanic?

Blanca Guerra’s values are more in line with her district, conservative on social issues and very much in favor of free enterprise, not Grijalva’s socialsim.

On immigration, she favors sensible reforms, neither mass amnesty nor mass deportations. Per PEW Research, 60% of Republicans favor immigration reform including 49% of staunch conservatives. 72% of Americans in general want immigration reform, and Arizonans aren’t much different.

In his combination of unctuousness, petulance, bullying, overweening arrogance, and bogus moral preening, it’s hard to beat Grijalva. He is the perfect face of the modern left in all it’s glorious pathology.

The pixilated County kingpin, (holding court and office hours from the bar of the Arizona Inn) never thought he would have to fight for his gerrymandered retirement awarded by the Democratic machine for the dirty deeds he enforced until election to Washington.

The last laugh lately was when he demanded PCC lower the bar for incoming students even below the tested 7th grade level they were coming in at, because…. well, just because.

His thug clubhouse, I mean his district office must be rolling with concern because this isolated,doodling, backbencher may have to actually campaign.

You, the taxpayer, are STILL paying for that mess called Kino stadium a combination of hungover thinking and unseeming muscle-flexing forced upon us by El Gordo.
