Is Police Brutality An Acceptable Norm In Arizona?
by Carlos Galindo on May. 05, 2011, under UncategorizedA Goodyear Police Commander gets placed on paid leave because of misappropriate behavior.
Is this kind of behavior becoming the norm rather than the exception in Arizona? Time and time again we have witnessed everything from beatings to killings of unarmed or non-aggressive citizens.
I appreciate the efforts put forth by honest and non violent police officers. I truly think there are “some” good police officers in Arizona. The question we have to ask ourselves, have even the good police officers become empowered by laws like SB1070 and the hostile environment in Arizona? Do many officers feel that the political climate is such in Arizona that they will get a pass from their superiors and from the general public because, after all, they are cops, and they know better?
Many of these questions will be posed and debated tomorrow on “straight Talk With Carlos Galindo” on the JOLT 1330 AM from 5-7 PM.
