Unique Simulated Fire Performance At This Year’s Festival of Lights Parade!

by on Dec. 09, 2009, under arts, Tucson Art

Tucson’s Elemental Artistry Fire Performance Troupe will be heating up the parade with their special performance. They will feature poi spinners, hula hoopers, jugglers, stilt walkers and more to add some fiery excitement to the parade this year. Because the parade will be moving down the street and the public viewers near,  they will be using LED lights instead of actual fire.

Elemental Artistry is bringing another exciting season of fire dance classes to the Tucson public. If you’ve seen fire dancers and always wanted to try, now is your chance! Classes will be offered weekly starting in January. Instructors focus on creating a safe, supportive environment helping ignite your inner dancer in 2010.

Classes are held in central Tucson at the Parasol Project located at 299 S Park Ave. Students will learn poi, staff, hula hoop, dance, juggling and more, receiving quality education at a reasonable price.
