I here what you two are saying, this town would have a new feeling if these events were to start happing, my friends have been talking about this, we are from eugene and they have a lovely example of this style of event, and i really like the traveling idea, You could always just team up more with the farmers markets, but it would be nice to see it in more centralized locations, I hope itworks out, let me know if anyone wants to work on this project, i would be in to helping find a greater arts culture in tucson. I think it supports the communties so well, bring you back to truer passions and hands life., in so many ways and is a great way of connection, networking, economninc, food and music, and more, we all know this can happen, all we have to do is start.

Thanks James, I like your ideas and hope the community is listening. There are such great art talent in Tucson and it would be wonderful if there was more opportunity for them to sell more of their creations to the public. The best way for the public to really support the visual arts is to "BUY THEIR ART!"

Tucson please support local artist. We should have weekly arts and craft shows city wide, similar to farmers markets, they could be located
in shopping centers, vacant properties. Sort of a traveling carnival for the arts.Run weekends, rotating metro wide. This is being done in
a small way by local street vendors. This could be a "moving" enterprise
like the swap meet.Combine with food, crafts, music. Keep it local withhomegrown talent and products.
City residents can get out and explore the metro and support the
local economy as well.A commercial venture, not a government one.
