Good to see you Charlie at the WAMO reception. My husband and I went on a few studio tours today and discovered the amazing paper creations by artist Nick Georgiou, in the warehouse above BICAS. His website is myhumancomputer.com. His stuff was certainly original.

Thanks, Carolyn. Yes, my studio– a little guest house behind my old adobe– will be open. It’s not as fancy as the Star Bear Studio pictured above; I’m jealous! The Open Studio Tour Exhibit at JCC was well-attended last night.

I’m looking forward to what WAMO has to say on Saturday night. My understanding is that they will have a model of the new and improved warehouse district.

With 222 artists on the Studio Tour, it is apparent that the arts are an important part of our city’s culture. Politicians– take note, please!
