Involved in Tucson’s Arts District for 23 years, David Aguirre is intricately involved with, and dedicated to, downtown and arts district issues and affairs affecting artists.

He has organized art exhibitions and events for many years with an emphasis on local and area artists. He has organized Ignite Tucson, fashion shows, film festivals, created and managed artist organizations, created artist workshops and arts-related panel discussions, and currently manages the Citizens Warehouse with its 38 artist studios.

David Aguirre has a Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin and teaches hand-built ceramics at Pima Community College.
