“The Monsters That Made Us” is one of those art exhibitions that will challenge you and make you think. It is not “pretty” art that will go with the sofa or carpet but is thought provoking art that you will probably either love or hate but will not come away untouched. Within this article you will see a very small sampling of the exhibition.

The quality of the art exhibited is highly professional and the artist’s message is well delivered. Marc David Leviton, artist, art professor and the founder and President of Industria Studios, curated the exhibition. I covered a story about one of the ISIevents recently.
The Nature of Tolerance by Pasqualina Azzarello
The exhibition’s sub-themes move from God to war, through cultures into psychodramas and vanities. The show is a colorful reflection of the human element sharing and cleansing itself. It is a refreshing vision of personal truths and misshapes.
As I have stated many times before, Tucson, Arizona has some of the finest artists in America creating wonderful unique art that will equal any you might have seen in other cities. This city really could become an art Mecca with the right organized promotional program. Viewing some of this work will convince you of the enormous range available.
She Walks IN Beauty by Charles McGrady
I hope the public goes to see this truly edgy artwork that expresses a greater purpose than just the traditional pretty paintings and sculptures. If people desire to see art that expresses the emotion and deep feelings within the artist being released they will not be disappointed. This art reflects the soul of the artist and all works are for sale.

Artists’ Reception is on Friday, April 9th, from 5 PM -9PM with a lecture from the curator at 6 PM. Exhibit runs April 1st through May 1st. 1122 N.
