Soft Cell Tissue by Jessica Drenk

A solo exhibition titled: Materials in Balance ,with University of Arizona Alumni,  Jessica Drenk will open this Saturday November 6 at the Conrad Wilde Gallery.  The show opens with an artist talk at 5:00 pm sponsored by the Contemporary Art Society of the Tucson Museum of Art.

Immediately following the artist presentation there will be a public reception from 6:00-9:00 pm. The exhibit runs through Saturday, November 27^th.

The work of Jessica Drenk involves the manipulation of common materials such as wood or PVC tubing to create repetitive, post-minimalist patterns that achieve a balance between juxtapositions: the symmetrical and the asymmetrical, the natural world and the digital world, the microscopic and the macroscopic.
