So, that’s what you guys were doing in Iraq? Looking for communists? I thought it was WMD’s you were after. Did you find any, or did you just decide to declare that all the dead civilians were communists? Funny thing is, I believe the death toll of Iraqis resulting from your “keeping them safe” has exceeded Saddam’s wildest dreams.

Sorry Don, I guess it’s just difficult for about 47% of us to understand just how wonderful the 1% is and how kind they have been to the 99%; pulling us kicking and screaming towards prosperity through relentless self-sacrifice, never giving one thought to their own well-being, their only concern being the welfare of the “little people”.
Truth is, Don, no matter how you try to spin it, I think your man Mittens has been exposed through his comment about the 47%. In an unguarded moment, he has revealed what he really thinks about the mass of people. He thinks he’s John Galt.

Sounds as if a LOT of Americans have been trained to look for a handout.

door-to-door sales—the government would pay a month of energy costs
through credits offered by the Obama administration.”

“PSE&G, the New Jersey gas and
electric delivery utility, issued a similar warning the same month.
According to MSNBC, there were 10,000 reported victims in New Jersey in
recent weeks, and thousands more in North Carolina, Indiana and
Pennsylvania.”

I, a defense contractor, have already lost my job once due to federal budget cuts. I worked hard, went to school in the evenings to get additional skills and got another.

I’m proud to be an American defense contractor. I’ve devoted my career to keeping the world safe from Communists and other forms of cancer.

If I was really “sucking off the federal teat,” I’d be screaming for higher taxes for rich people. I’m not. First, it’s unfair to expect other people to subsidize me. Second, “rich” people make the investments and take the risks that drive a successful free-market economy. They’re not whipping boys/girls for class-warfare types, nor are they cash cows to be sucked dry.

In this election, math is voting Republican. Look at ALL the bills the federal government has promised to pay, and compare that with ALL of the money we realistically have at our disposal. There’s a big, big gap between the two.

Democrats see that gap…and scream racism.

Sorry to continue to see you steal from America.

I triple dog dare you to show how the federal government can pay for all the entitlements it’s promised to American citizens. It’s been that way for decades.

The money that’s been paid into those funds is way, way short of the money required to pay all the benefits that’s been promised from those programs.

IMO, your statement above “The money…is still there, in special, protected, guaranteed funds” is a deliberate attempt to mislead people as to the real nature of our country’s entitlement problem.

If Democrats really cared about people who relied on Social Security and Medicare, they’d make meaningful steps to keep those programs solvent. Instead, they’re putting those programs on a path to bankruptcy.
