Tucson Citizen and BBB,
Thank you so much for making it easy for me to reduce and hopefully eliminate my junk mail. The incredible onslaught of businesses trying to reach us through the mail has made going to the box a chore and I for one never ended up reading any advertisements from the pile of mail I received daily. It all went straight to the recycle bin.
Gathering all this info together is a great service to individuals like myself and to the good mother earth as well. I'm off now to go hug a tree.
Warm regards,
Demain

The last official study I'm aware of was one done by the Federal Trade Commission and it concluded that stolen mail was responsible for only two per cent of all identity theft. It's astonishing that you would publish an item on identity theft and not include what's happening with electronic communication. Further you would then devote an entire portion of this column on how people can eliminate advertising mail from their mailboxes. Direct mail is an engine of growth, one that many small businesses depend on. I'm wondering if you have your priorities straight. You don't seem to be doing small businesses any favors.
