Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona has hired Candice Agee-Reed as Director of Operations at the Tucson office. Agee-Reed will be charged with overseeing the day-to-day administration of BBB operations, including complaint handling.
A nine-year veteran of the Air Force, Agee-Reed brings an expertise in both supply and logistics, and public affairs to BBB, as well as experience working for the Army Substance Abuse program.
Originally from Kentucky, Agee-Reed was stationed at Davis-Monthan Air Force base for five years, and says that she jumped at the chance to move back to Tucson with her family.
“This is one of the most welcoming places that I’ve ever lived, to the point that my family had to get back to it,” Agee-Reed said. “I’m so excited for the opportunity to work directly with the community here, and to help advance BBB’s vision of trust in Southern Arizona.”
BBB’s Operations Department is responsible for not only handling all complaints filed with BBB, but also with compiling and maintaining BBB’s Business Reviews for Southern Arizona businesses, which were accessed more than 530,000 times by consumers in 2012.
