Toyota announced today that it is recalling close to 50,000 2003 Sequoia SUVs to upgrade its anti-rollover software, according to The Detroit News. It’s just another setback to the Japanese automaker that has been under fire lately for its safety record.

The auto maker said in a four-page letter that it still believes “these vehicles do not present an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety” but is recalling them to correct NHTSA’s concerns.

As part of the recall, affected cars will have their electronic stability control system software upgraded.
