Jason Terry has earned a right to Tweet. The Dallas point guard became the first ex-Wildcat to win both NCAA and NBA titles when the Mavericks knocked off Miami in Tuesday’s Game Six.

Had the Mavs lost, that honor would have gone to JET’s Arizona teammate and Heat guard Mike Bibby.

Terry wasn’t about to let that happen, scoring the game-winner dagger in Game Five and a game-high 27 points in the series clincher.

Thanks to Jason Eugene Terry, the Dallas Mavericks are soaring.

The former Arizona Wildcat scored 20 points off the bench on Monday night to give the Mavs a 3-2 series lead over the Portland Trailblazers in the opening round of the NBA playoffs. 

Terry is the among five Arizona alumnus still playing in the NBA postseason.

The Dallas sixth man is in a race with ex-Wildcat teammate Mike Bibby of the Miami Heat to become the first Wildcat to win both an NCAA and NBA title.

The PAC-10 has named University of Arizona women’s golfers Kyndall Ardoin, Isabelle Boineau, Alejandra Llaneza and Margarita Ramos to its All Pac-10 squad. Arizona heads to the NCAA West Regional beginning on May 5 at the University of Washington in Seattle.
