18 days later

It's been a rough almost three weeks since I left Bamm Bamm at his relative's house. Before the transition occured a  lot of people told me to "Give yourself a week to grieve." For some reason that translated into my head "After a week you will feel better." More »

How long it takes the president to give a someone a medal

  When President Bush came to Tucson on July 18, he paused briefly – very, very briefly – to  give the President's Volunteer Service Award to Mary Frances Ward, a retired educator who spends time tutoring local school kids and who spent a good half hour waiting at the foot of the Air Force One stairs.
