Zagat's 2009 Restaurant Guide

.. has just been released. The guide rates 1,516 restaurants in 45 U.S. cities on a 30-point scale (20 to 25 points is "very good to excellent," 26 to 30 points is "extraordinary to perfection." Here's how Zagat shakes out Tucson's best:

Zagats views are mostly outdated as they really only rate every 5-? years and have been known to rate based on personal preferences rather than objectivity. If you are truly familiar with the Tucson food scene, you'll see some inequities in the order and ratings. Oh yeah, and don't forget to check out ZAGATTOGO :(lol:(

I am very familiar with the Tucson food scene and that is why I don't like the ratings. I think Janos is good but not great. Le Rendez-Vous is ok considering there are not any great French Restaurants here but not outstanding. Feast, not impressed. The Grill, Vivace, and The Dish are great restaurants but the noteworthy restaurants they mentioned are mostly below fair in my opinion. What would be your top 5?
