Arizona’s Rob Gronkowski is not one of the top eight tight ends in the country.

The John Mackey Award Committee, which honors the nation’s top tight end nationally, has not put Gronkowski among the eight semi-finalists.
Obviously the committee is not doing its complete homework. The players chosen are very qualified, but the production Gronkowski has had, considering he missed the first three games of the season with mono, is deserving of stronger consideration.
