It's going to be one of those seasons for the University of Arizona men's basketball season. And not in a good way. The Wildcats already have been thrown off course after Alabama-Birmingham knocked them into the consolation bracket of the Season NIT Tipoff on Tuesday night. Arizona's 72-71 unfathomable loss now sends it to Athens, Ga., to face Mississippi Valley State, a 62-54 loser to James Madison on Tuesday night in Norman, Okla.
MVSU is 0-4 this season and plays Montana on Thursday before heading east to finish out the NIT. Arizona likely will travel on Saturday for Monday's game.
