Christopher A. Clark, 35, was killed and another man injured in a West Side home invasion Nov. 19, police said.
This marks the 73rd Tucson homicide of the year.
The home invasion took place around noon in the 1900 block of North Atwood Avenue, police said, when several armed males entered the home and confronted two men inside.
Several shots were fired at the front door of a home, leaving Clark dead and the other man with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
A child in the home was not injured, said Lt. Rick Middleton, a Tucson police spokesman.
Police are investigating if this shooting is related to an earlier one this year, which left a man, woman and 8-year-girl killed in their home less than one-quarter mile from the Atwood residence.
No description, ages or other information about the victims or suspects were available.
