Yes Gilbert, those of us who knew Lorraine will always remember her tireless spirit and dedicated activism. I saw Alonso recently at a political rally, and he is carrying on in her spirit, along with their two lovely daughters.

With her infectious laugh, brilliant eyes & enrapturing smile, Lorraine Lee captured hearts & minds the instant you met her. Her great love for Alonso became very apparent & we Mechistas knew Alonso had met his match. Their love for each other inspired & brought forth life. Dedicated to social change & moving in the necessary circles, Lorraine Lee was a voice with which to be reckoned. We can all be proud of Lorraine Lee & move forward with her tireless spirit… Si, Se Puede!

We returned today to hike Lorraine’s desert trail this afternoon and it’s about 1.6 miles in total, takes about an hour to do the loop, with fantastic vistas of the surrounding areas. I highly recommend it for its beauty.
