About 100 people attended tonight to hear these 7 candidates try to express why they wanted to run for state house, and what made them different from the others. Questions from the audience ranged from the drought in Arizona & water rights, to border security, education/health care, the war on drugs. All 7 were supportive of Proposition 100, and had interesting examples to the questions of a marquee legislation they would want to pass, and about how they had "fought against a more powerful foe." Present tonight-- State Senator Jorge Luis Garcia, State Rep. Phil Lopes, State Rep. Olivia Cajero Bedford, State Rep. Daniel Patterson, as were state house candidates Gene Chewning (LD 27 Independent), Kent Solberg (LD 27 Green), Tim Sultan (LD 28 Democrat).
