LD 28 House debate: vote for 2 of these 5 Democratic candidates

by on Jul. 14, 2010, under Life, Politics

Five hopefuls are vying for 2 seats in the Democratic primary race in LD 28 Arizona House of Representatives. The Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission (CCEC) debate held on July 13 between these candidates is online now (click here), held at Pima Community College Community Board Room at 4905 E. Broadway.

Rep. Steve Farley is the 2 term incumbent up for re-election, and current Rep. David Bradley is termed out and running for state-wide Corporation Commission.

C indicating participation in the “clean” elections program, T for traditionally funded candidates.

Mohur Sidhwa (C), www.mohur2010.com
Tim Sultan (C), www.timsultan.com
Bruce Wheeler (C), www.Wheeler2010.com, former legislator

I reported about a previous debate between these candidates on March 18 (click here). Marlena Tova Fineberg who appeared at the March debate is no longer a candidate according to the Secretary of State’s website.

    Thanks for the info!

Thanks, three-sonorans. These online CCEC video debates are great for those of us who may have missed attending these debates in person.

I was at the last debate and it seemed like they all said the same thing.  I did think that Mohur Sidhwa was a little strange.
A good friend from the UofA told me that she does palm card readings and Tarot cards for money on the side.  I thought that was a bit strange and I hope my friend is wrong.
They all seemed boring to me.

James d,  I missed this last CCEC debate, but I’ve heard these candidates speak twice before and think there are clear differences between them.  I’ve asked Mohur to respond to your queries, as I don’t know the answer.  I myself have had tarot card readings and they have been very revealing and actually prophetic.  Thanks for commenting.

Didn’t see the debate but I met this Mohur Sidwa at a funraiser for another democratic canidate. I wasn’t impressed by her, but maybe she knew ahead of time that I probably won’t vote for her (if she really is a physic like they said) and decided not to try!  I kinda felt like she was talking down to me like if I was stupid.  I Didn’t get a fancy degree or anything like that but I feel like I’m just as smart as this lady.

Joe, I think you mean “psychic” as being someone who does palm readings and/or reads tarot cards.  It can be a fun, leisure activity and some people have had amazing stories to tell after these readings.  Listen to the LD 28 debate and read about Mohur on her website listed above.

That lady never contatced me by email.  I found out she takes money like a fortune teller so it is what it is… but thanks for the info.

Mohur Sidhwa was endorsed by the Tucson Weekly this week, along with incumbent Rep. Steve Farley.

Rep. Farley and former Councilmember Bruce Wheeler are the apparent winners of this race, having just received a farewell email from Mohur thanking all her campaign workers.  She was behind by 478 votes in last night’s count.
