Standing room only tonight (hundreds of people in the audience) to hear 4 of the 5 candidates (Beth Price was absent) answer questions on: increasing spending for K-12 education, charter schools,  their top 3 priorities,  Adult Ed., ethnic studies, special education,  full day Kindergarten, early childhood education, vouchers, math scores, American Indian education, tuition tax credits.  At 8:40 p.m. a group came in with large banners stating “$ for Education  Not Border Militarization” and “Defend Ethnic Studies  No to HB 2281″, which disrupted the panel for a few minutes. The choice is yours, vote wisely on or before August 24.
