About 70 people listened to this first debate between these 4 candidates. Prepared questions were– what is Arizona’s biggest issue & how to address it, their position on SB 1070, how to deal with water usage, and why vote for you? Then the audience asked questions of some candidates such as to Krino about educational funding & “market based schools”, to Independents Ewoldt & Downing as to which Senate Caucus they would vote with, about unicameral legislation to Downing, and to Ewoldt as to what does sustainability mean in our daily lives? Then LD 28 house candidate Bruce Wheeler asked all four whom they would support for Governor. Also attending today were former candidates Dave Croteau (for Mayor), Mary DeCamp (for Ward 3 Councilmember) and Mohur Sidhwa (for LD 28 House).
