May the pain subside and the healing continue strongly. The arts are so good and soothing for our souls. I’ve seen the damage that child sexual abuse can do as it became a factor late in my beloved soulmate’s life before she passed. My heart goes out to anyone who suffers from such a horrible brutal encroachment on his or her well being.

Very moving ceremony tonight for the women artists of the healing masks, indicating the faith & hope they have for a better future, like a “phoenix rising from the ashes.” About 21 masks were displayed, which were entirely different from the previous masks showing the pain & trauma of the abuse they endured.
