“San Xavier del Bac: A Cultural Legacy” talk at Martha Cooper branch library

Stevie Mack from CRIZMAC will highlight the founding and history of the San Xavier del Bac Mission just south of Tucson. The interior and exterior renovation of the structure and some of the interesting stories associated with the process will be discussed. Learn more about this beautiful legacy in the Sonoran desert, known by many as The White Dove.

    Hey Carolyn how about some background on that library. North of Speedway/Columbus?? I know the TPL system pretty well but I dont remember where that one is. The TPL folks would probably thank you.

      Martha Cooper Library is a new branch, one block east of Columbus on Catalina Avenue between Bellevue and Fairmount (thus 2 blocks north of Speedway).  Hope that helps.  It’s a lovely new, modern neighborhood library with large windows, open ceilings, and a small park in front.
