Habitat Tucson and the Habistore home improvement center have bought a new store, and will be opening on Wed. January 5 at their new location, 935 W. Grant Rd., 1/2 mile east of I-10.

The HabiStore is changing the world one couch at a time! By selling surplus new and used building and home improvement materials, appliances and furniture to the public the HabiStore is diverting more than 200 tons of material from the landfill each year.

Usable materials, donated by retail businesses, contractors, individuals, and other organizations, are sold at below cost prices. Proceeds from the HabiStore fund the Habitat Tucson mission of eliminating poverty housing within our community.

The Habitstore is operated by Habitat for Humanity Tucson,

Last day at Ajo/Palo Verde location (3840 S. Palo Verde) is Friday December 10, by 5 p.m. Shop now for the holidays before they move to their new location.
