by on Apr. 05, 2011, under Life, Politics

KUAT Channel 6 has interviewed (separately) the five men currently vying for the Mayor of the City of Tucson. Republican Mayor Bob Walkup announced he would not seek a 4th term on February 22, 2010.

The five men officially running (so far) are listed below. Click on the blue hyperlinks on their names for my previous blogs announcing their candidacy:

Ron Asta, Republican, land planner, radio talk show host (KJLL)

Marshall Home, Democrat, billionaire

Shaun McClusky, Republican, realtor

Jon McLane, Green, businessman, radio talk show host (KVOI)

Jonathan Rothschild, Democrat, attorney

And realtor Pat Darcy is still considering a bid as well, as an Independent.

The Arizona primary for the Mayor/City Council races (Wards 1, 2, 4) is set for August 30; the General Election will be on November 8, 2011.
