That is a good idea. And go further to explain how ad hominems are useful in the right context. It is the actions afterward that matter. The Bible is woven with them, but only to bring home a morality message.

Councilwoman Karin Uhlich won over Republican Ben Bueller-Garcia by 175 votes in a 3 way race with Green party candidate Mary DeCamp, who got 4429 votes. Congressman Raul Grijalva beat political newcomer Republican challenger Ruth McClung by 9550 votes.

Thanks for the update Hi Corbett. I wasn’t able to attend the 3:30 p.m. postponed hearing though I did show up at 1:30 p.m. Let’s see what McClusky does next, but write-in candidates have a difficult time winning.

McClusky submitted 1183 signatures, 175 of which were invalid, which left him 52 signatures short of the required 1060. –To follow up on Prezelski’s blog, McClusky was not present in court but his counsel stated that McClusky “has no current intention” to run for Mayor as a write-in candidate. Attorney Munger said that McClusky was not willing to stipulate to that, and that he (Munger) was not authorized to do so. Adam Kinsey, Executive Director of the Pima County Democratic Party, thinks that McClusky “has only one bite at the apple” and is thus ineligible to run.

Right on bro! Identity Politics is the new aberration and it is sweeping the nation. The Radio Party of America adherents no longer have to read or think, just regurgitate the Rush Bimbaugh pre-cooked thought snacks. Just listen closely, if Rush,Neal, Savagery,and Finger Hannity, say something on a Monday, that sounds like a thought they would like to own that week, they adopt it and by Wednesday the entire nation of Radio Heads are repeating the same thought, syntax and all, like parrots. George Orwell would be rollicking in all this thought control. And they do not have a clue. They actually think they are engaging in free speech! Glenn Beck has a staff of Psychologists who work around the clock to tap into our survival and fight or flight mechanisms. All to what end……. Gold Line? Listen closely… no solutions to anything. These dudes are making millions by scaring babies. And ,if you administered the MMPI; (Minnesota Multi-Phasic Personality Inventory) to the Radio Narcissists,they would not pass muster for psychological balance. I say it all started when the Draft ended in 1973. Not to suggest it be reinstated, but males have no initiation rites any longer, so they now use politics and the NFL as their Army. The irony, is that none of the rants and aberration would be allowed in the Armed Forces.
I think we need a new Cabinet post. The National Director of Maturity.

The problem with the republicans in Pima county is they live in delusions of grandeur that if only they appear constantly on 104.1 FM radio with the local shock jock they will win, but he is batting a pretty low average for the candidates he supports all of which are republican, in a county where democrats out number them guess reality is finally catching up to them they might wish to move to Maricopa county where they do have a majority and 104.1 FM radio has nothing but rogue’s gallery of racists, bigots, looks like Neal Boortz put his proverbial foot into his mouth with his call for violence and murdering “blacks” in Georgia, fits with the cast of 104.1 FM infamous Michael Savage aka Michael Weiner another one of 104.1 FM’s rogues is banned from entering the United Kingdom along with terrorists, radical moslem Imam’s etc., if one did a analysis of them all they live off preaching hate, racism, bigotry but none have any saintly histories! This character failed to unseat Gifford even with his event where his guests could “shoot” at a image of her, these people truly do confirm the old saying of “birds of a feather flock together”!
