Grinnell is facing Democrat Jonathan Rothschild and Green Mary DeCamp in the General Election on November 8.

Hey Carolyn: So how’s your prediction when the Tea Party first came on the political scene that they were just a “flash in the pan,” and “would be forgotten 6 months from now,” holding up? Inquiring minds want to know. <g> — Aloha, yer pal, Ferrari Bubba

About 25 people there tonight to listen to Grinnell speak about helping businesses, unemployment & a liveable wage, illegal immigration, jobs.  New Chair Carolyn Cox of the Pima County GOP and James Kelley, blogger at “The Cholla Jumps” also in attendance.

I love being on the campaign trail with Rick!  He has been warm, congenial, and lots of fun in the debates so far.  We are proving that politics does not have to be nasty – we can each offer our ideas and our vision for the city and allow voters to decide which candidate would be most likely to support their interests and serve Tucson’s citizens the best.  I just happen to think that the Green vision is better, and I’m hoping you will, too!

Thanks Mary for your comments about campaigning with Rick Grinnell. I knew him slightly years ago when we both served on the Domestic Violence Commission.
