		<description><![CDATA[Over 225 people in attendance to hear the 9 candidates field questions.  Mayoral candidates were first asked about their position on Infill, and what they have done to advance equality/status of women, followed by a question to all the Council candidates about how to bring amenities to downtown.  Then all were asked to choose to answer five of fifteen (or so) questions, ranging from Rio Nuevo, how to bring jobs &amp; companies to Tucson, funding police/fire/water depts.,  qualities of a City Manager, improving Tucson streets, the Rosemont Mine, their position on Occupy Tucson at Armory Park, vote-by-mail ballots, improving education, budget priorities, mental health services, troubled youth, Sun Tran subsities, more revenue.  Being as not all had to answer each question, the replies were varied and not every candidate answered each question, for the audience to compare responses.  Ward 6 Councilmember Steve Kozachik and LD 30 Rep. Ted Vogt (brother of Tyler) were present.]]></description>
