Speaking today:  Dr. Jason Krupp, Chief Medical Officer of TMC; Nina Trasoff & Ross Zimmerman (father of Gabe), Tucson Trails Tribute Coalition; Darla Sidles, Superintendent of Saguaro National Park; Neal Cash, CEO of CommUNITY Partnership of So. AZ, and C.J. Karamargin, PCC Vice Chancellor for Public Information & Government Relations (former press director for Congresswoman Giffords).  All spoke of the coming together of all the numerous community partners to create these many events on Jan. 7. Also present today were Gifford’s aide Ron Barber and Suzi Hileman, who were both shot on Jan. 8, 2011 and recovered. The press conference was in front of the labyrinth at TMC, a place for “calming of the mind” according to Dr. Krupp, apropos for this upcoming celebration.
