Thanks for commenting Gladys and inquiring about whether Sue Parker (librarian at Himmel Library) can schedule an additional time for Molly to speak. Hopefully Sue will respond to your email inquiry. Molly’s Feb. 7 talk does conflict with the Living Beyond 100 lecture series, which I will blog about next week, as it starts on Jan. 24.

Hi Sue, I was really looking forward to attending Molly’s talk, and then heard at the Annual Sam Hughes Neighborhood Association Meeting it had been rescheduled to Tuesday, Feb. 8th, 6:30 pm.. OH My, that creates a conflict with the Tuesday evening Science Lecture Series at the UofA ..(that evening on the Aging Brain).

I don’t know if others would find it as an excruciating choice as I do, but as a senior citizen, I feel a need to join my husband at the UofA lecture series. If there’s not a large turnout… perhaps Molly would return for a daytime presentation in the near future? I hope so. Lastly, thank you for setting up these lecture series at the library. We have thoroughly enjoyed the ones we’ve attended. Regard, Gladys Richardson
