Busy March 18: Cyclovia, Water Festival, Solar Rock, & Gloo Factory open house – updated

More than enough to do — all for free– in one day, Sunday March 18 downtown from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

Cyclovia, 10 to 3 p.m. www.cycloviatucson.org
car-free bike friendly/skates/pedestrian only family and community event, see map for route below — from Armory Park south to E. 36th Street and back (5 mile loop)

Water Festival, 10 to 4 p.m. www.tucsonwaterfestival.org

3rd annual water friendly, environmental & art fair for all ages sponsored by Tucson Arts Brigade

Solar Rock, 11 to 4 p.m., www.solarrocktucson.com *
Armory Park (along 6th Avenue between E.12th & E 13th, south of Broadway)
100% solar powered concert plus:

Now in its sixth year, Solar Rock will feature live music from local bands, speakers, games, kids’ activities, food, and exhibits from local businesses, schools, and community organizations.

Gloo Factory Ink. is a full service Union print shop offering custom offset and screen printing on t-shirts, stickers, paper, banners and more.

We’re sparking up the grill, will be treated to local musical talents and are eager to toast all the friends of the Gloo Factory who helped make this move possible.

    Sunday come rain or shine.  (We’ll keep our fingers crossed for the
    latter.)  Our many community partners are on board and will be there to
    offer you fun activities and information; the streets will be closed;

    Solar Rock just announced their cancellation due to gusty winds & rain predicted for tomorrow.  Too bad, but the rest of the events are continuing.
