Free day at Tucson Mini Time Machine Museum (of Miniatures)by Carolyn Classen on Aug. 30, 2012, under Arts, Life
Mark your calendars for Saturday September 1st (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) if you haven’t been yet to the Tucson Mini Time Machine Museum at 4455 E. Camp Lowell St. (west of Swan Rd.).
It’s their 3rd anniversary and I just visited it this past Spring for the first time. This unique museum houses fantastic dioramas & displays of miniature houses – castles, nature dwellings, historic homes, futuristic buildings, etc. etc. It’s pure wonderland, and especially fun for children.
And they are hosting a Teacher Appreciation Night reception on September 12, so sign up online. Teachers/educators also receive 2 free tickets for a future date at that event.
