A Message from El Grupo Youth Cycling:

The 2012 Headless Hunt Bicycle Scavenger Hunt will be Sunday, October 28th!!

Don’t miss out on the fun for this year’s awesome event – with more challenging distances and feats of strength and stupidity! Separate distances for families and teams – with times taken for all. Challenge some friends to some fun and come on out to support El Grupo in its mission of empowering youth through bicycles.

Surprise raffle prizes, hand made trophies and HUB ice cream and/or a local brew from Playground will top it all off!!

Great family event on bicycles. Watched the start off at the Hub this morning, with about 35 teams (minimum 2 people) challenge themselves with 12 clues (only five for the family teams) on the scavenger hunt. Returning champ Greg Yares there with team #6. Observed team #12 arrive first at Clue # 6 (3rd St. x Tucson Blvd.) One volunteer mother said this program was “transformative” for her 13 year old son. Recognized team # 23 German and Bea as well.
