The road repair (409) was closer than I thought it would be. Tucson citizens just can’t trust the City Admin. with any more money. Rio Nuevo was the coffin nail that sealed this deal.

But stay tuned, there are supposedly 80,000 provisional & early ballots still to be counted in Pima County, per AZ Daily Star. This margin in Prop. 409 could change.

In CD1, Kirkpatrick’s lead has increased to almost 7k votes; she’s declared victory while Paton has yet to concede. In CD2, it looks like around 20k more votes have been processed and McSally’s lead has decreased to a miniscule 81 votes – 119,617 to 119,536. As early & provisional ballots tend to favor Democrats I think Barber is going to come out ahead. In CD9, Sinema has pulled ahead by to just under 4k votes, I think she will also come out ahead.

I don’t think Paton will concede till all the votes are in, unless Kirkpatrick’s lead widens even more. The Barber/McSally race is very close, with Barber leading yesterday by 582 votes, then losing the lead again later last night. We will all be awaiting these ballot results for days. Prop. 118 flipped to the winning side yesterday after 2 days of losing. I am updating my other AZ candidate post nightly. Stay tuned David.

Gap in City’s Prop. 409 (still losing) is closing, so stay tuned daily. Prop. 118 flipped to winning side yesterday.

Will be updating Prop. 118, Prop. 409 and CD 2 race at new post: http://tucsoncitizen.com/community/2012/11/10/2012-arizona-general-election-updates/. Gap in Prop. 409 is narrowing since election night, but still losing.

Prop. 409 switched to winning side today Nov. 12:

YES 65,679, NO 65,597. Stay tuned.

    UPDATE 11/13/12: 409 still winning by 70 votes: 66,785 to 65,715.

Propositions 118 and 409 still winning, by larger margins.

409: Yes 67,299; No 67,057 which will affect City roads. Please check for updates at my other post.

Pima County did not count ballots today Nov. 15, so the figures for Prop. 409 are the same; Prop. 118 leading by larger margin.

Prop. 409 has won by 953 votes. Pima County Elections Divisions completed counting of votes today, two weeks after the General Election on 11/6/12. Maricopa County still counting but lead for Prop. 118 has been widening.
