Beyond # 3 final event, a free walk though the Valley of the Moon, 2544 E. Then the lights came on at sunset, and the place became even more magical, with thoughts of hope & kindness for the future. Fitting end to Beyond Tucson 2013.

Beyond #2 Main event at Armory Park (still ongoing). MC Supervisor Richard Elias introduced Ross Zimmerman (father of deceased Gabe) and later Congressman Ron Barber, who both spoke of that fateful day 1/8/11. Barber promised to expand mental health services and to control guns w/ fire power like that shooting in which he was injured. Also in attendance victim/former outreach coordinator Pam Simon and former press sec. to Congresswoman Giffords, C.J. Karamargin. Lots of healthy activities (bike ride, jazzercize, flash workout,Zumba) plus healthy food & medical exhibits, free day at Children's Museum Tucson (with performance by Stories that Soar).
