If you haven’t been to Crizmac, this is the time to drop by & check out their beautiful imports from around the world. Last Fall I attended a talk by Stevie about Southwest artist Georgia O’Keeffe, and found it very stimulating & informative.

And like most women, I love chocolate, so this talk should be illuminating as well. And it’s just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 14.

About 40 people listened to this fascinating talk about the origins of chocolate from the Olmecs & Aztecs to present pop art, first boxed chocolate by Cadbury in 1861, etc. Samples of Swiss Lindt, Oaxacan Mayordomo chocolate, and Hershey’s kisses for the audience were enjoyed. Didn’t realize that chocolate is a stimulant, contains mood elevators & adds to feelings of well-being. No wonder women love chocolate, as it makes you feel “in love”.
