This was another vote-by-mail City election with a few polling places for those who prefer in-person voting. Don’t forget to vote for your preferred Council person in the General election, coming up on November 5. All candidates will be running City-wide in the General, unlike the primaries which are ward-only. The Tucson Mayor, and Councilmembers in Ward 1, 2 and 4 are up for re-election in 2015.
If you want to meet these candidates before the General Election, there will be a League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson forum on October 16, 6:30 p.m. at Temple Emanu El, co-sponsored by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Rabbi Samuel Cohon will be the moderator.
