2013 will mark the 25th Annual AIDSWALK Tucson. This event provides tremendous support to Southern Arizona in helping to provide services like medications assistance, food programs, case management, housing, prevention programs, HIV testing and more and has raised millions over the past two plus decades.
This year’s goal is to have 2,000 walkers and raise more than $150,000 to help support the programs and services of the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation. I hope you’ll walk with your community and help to support a healthier community this October 13, 2013 in Downtown Tucson for AIDSWALK 2013.
I’ve walked Aidswalk before at the Rillito Race grounds and also at the University of Arizona, but Aidswalk moved downtown last year. See map below. Help support the work of SAAF and to raise awareness about Aids.
And don’t forget that Tucson Meet Yourself’s 3rd and last day is also happening downtown at Jacome Plaza. That event starts at 11 a.m. and runs to 6 p.m. on October 13. Online schedule is at www.tucsonmeetyourself.org.
