Shop Your Girlfriend’s Closet Fundraiserby Carolyn Classen on Oct. 25, 2013, under Education, Life, Politics
10 years ago Voices for Education started up this annual fundraiser, with a secret location. I won’t disclose it as you have to go to their website to find out where it’s happening on October 25, 26 and 27.
Shop for new, used, vintage clothing at this terrific sale, which I’ve attended in the past. And if you want to donate your gently used clothing, call 520-324-0881. Remember that it’s always more fun to shop at your girlfriend’s closet than to look for stuff in your own.
Preview Reception – Friday, October 25th, 6:00-8:00pm: Join us for a silent auction, drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and first crack at Cream of the Crop. $50 admission also buys you free admission to Saturday!
Opening Day – Saturday, October 26th, 11:00am-5:00pm: Champagne and chocolate while you shop, even MORE clothes to shop from, and screamin’ deals! Wall to wall racks of new and barely worn clothing, including vintage and designer items, at unbelievable prices in the $10 to $100 range. $20 admission.
Sunday,October 27th, 11:00am-5:00pm: Free admission and tons of great clothes!
