What a dilemma. Two Clark Gable movies to choose from tomorrow afternoon.
I blogged earlier today about the 1934 movie “It Happened One Night” at the Loft (1 p.m.)– but then remembered that the Fox Theatre has the more famous “Gone With the Wind” (1939) at 2 p.m.
What a choice for you Gable fans (and mothers since it is Mother’s Day tomorrow).
Fox Tucson Theatre is at 17 W. Congress St. downtown. Ticket prices: Regular Price $8.00, student, senior[55 years and over],active duty military $6.00.
I must have read Margaret Mitchell’s novel “Gone with the Wind” several times over my life, and can still remember the strong, stubborn character of Scarlett O’Hara and her unrequited love for Ashley Wilkes. Poor Rhett Butler. Can anyone identify with these characters today?
